Myloi is located in southern Samos, near the river Imvrasos, in a fertile area rich in citrus groves. The village lies about 5 km from Pythagoreio and 3 km from Heraion, surrounded by nature and water.
🏛️ Administrative Information
Myloi belongs to the Municipal Unit of Pythagoreio within the Municipality of Eastern Samos. According to the 2011 census, the village had 249 residents.
🕰️ Historical Background
Myloi is considered one of the oldest villages on the island. Its name (“Myloi” meaning “mills” in Greek) is believed to originate from the old watermills that once operated along the Imvrasos River, which powered local agriculture and daily life.
